The City of Bloomington wanted innovation. We responded and proposed 21 sustainable, adaptable townhomes.

Project History and Tentative Schedule

Fall, 2020

Unfortunately Streetfront Development and the City of Bloomington were unable to come to terms for the sale of the land. The project has been indefinitely suspended.

September, 2019

The City of Bloomington issued a Request for Proposals for a strip of land along Lyndale Avenue South. The city acquired the land as part of a street expansion project 15 years ago and it has been vacant since.

Streetfront Development teamed up with Locus Architecture, Flannery Construction, a local realtor, and a local investor that grew up in Bloomington to submit a proposal.

January, 2020

The Bloomington City Council selected our proposal for development agreement negotiations.

Lots of daylight. Low energy bills. Solar-ready. Greenspace with native plants. Super-insulated walls. Rainwater collection. Durable materials.

Sustainability is about quality.
