A project 17 years in the making

The City of Minneapolis acquired and cleared the site. Sherman Associates was selected through a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP). The site required environmental remediation from a former gas station.

Completed in 2022.

Engagement 2020-2023. Streetfront Development completed city entitlements, community engagement, TIF funding application, bond application, low income housing tax credit application, negotiation of debt and equity package, general contractor selection, financial closing, construction oversight, environmental cleanup grant implementation, marketing and lease-up coordination, and tax credit certification process.
